Ausmectin Sheep Drench (Ivermectin) 20L

Ausmectin Sheep Drench is used for the treatment and control of Ivermectin sensitive strains of internal parasites (including benzimidazole, levamisole and morantel resistant strains), nasal bot and itch mite of sheep.

Ausmectin oral drench for sheep effectively controls the following parasites of sheep:

• Gastrointestinal worms (adult and immature): Haemonchus contortus, Ostertagia circumcincta, Trichostrongylus spp, Cooperia spp, Nematodirus spp includingN. battus, Strongyloides papillosus, Oesophagostomum spp, and adult Chabertia ovina. Inhibited larval stages and benzimidazole resistant strains of H. contortus and Ostertagia circumcincta also controlled.
• Lungworms (adult and immature): Dictyocaulus filaria.
• Nasal bot (all larval stages): Oestrus ovis.

ML (ivermectin)-resistant Haemonchus in northern NSW and southern Queensland are common (70+% of farms; possibly 30+% of farms for moxidectin). ML-resistant Teladorsagia (Ostertagia) are thought to occur on 30+% of farms in parts of southern NSW and other non-seasonal to winter rainfall areas of south-eastern Australia.
